Curb Appeal
Let's talk about the simple things to make your home more appealing to buyers.

1) Exterior Paint
- Bold colors, such as blue, can be risky. Don't recommend it.
- A fresh coat of exterior paint is recommended prior to list date.

- Neutral Earth Tone Pallet is best...look how nice this paint color looks!
- Look at the shutter detail…the black looks great.

2) Front Porch
- Dirty, cluttered porches are a negative. Clean it up! A power wash can make it look brand new.
- Fresh potted flowers are very inviting.

3) Flower Beds
- Freshen them up by pulling all the weeds (which is FREE)
- Add fresh mulch…non-negotiable :)

- A trip to a home improvement store for a few new plants or borders could be worth the money.
- Mow the yard, trim the edges, and keep it watered. Don't let your hard work be in vain by letting the flowers die!
RECAP
- Fresh coat of inviting, neutral colors. If you can't paint it, clean as best you can.
- Take a Saturday morning before listing your home and REALLY clean the grout.
- Flower beds make for a lively home. If you have kids capable of doing this part, it makes for a good chore :)
- The outside of your home can sometimes be a good indicator of what to expect on the inside. Drive-by buyers are more apt to call and look on the inside of a home if the outside is pleasing to the eye.
