Getting down to the nitty-gritty… literally.

1) Floor tile
- Tile grout is one of the things that gets dirty very easily. If you aren't paying attention to it, you will become unaware of the discoloration that is happening. (Not only in the bathroom, wherever there is tile)
- If you didn't already know, most of the dirtiness in grout is from your dead skin cells.. sorry if that's a little grotesque but I'm sure when you are looking to purchase a home, you don't want to see somebody else's dirty grout :/

2) Shower/bathtub/toilet
- Like the floor tile, dirty grout is from… yes, you guessed it. Keeping a clean bathtub, shower and toilet is an absolute must.
- As much as I would enjoy pulling up a dirty toilet and show you the Before and After picture, I'm refraining from doing so...

3) Don't make these mistakes!
- I found this while searching for other pictures and thought this was interesting. A few of these have been touched on in our blog, and we will be getting to the buyer side of it all, after this post.
- I do think that this is a good representation of some of the mistakes sellers AND realtors make.
Re-cap
- The cleaner, the better. But you don't want your house to smell like cleaning solution.
- If its the time of season for a fire, throw in some pine cones to give it a nice warm smell.
- If you are a smoker, try to ventilate the house by opening the windows and smoking outside. Non-smokers will count it as a negative if that is all they can smell.
